After completing his Associates Degree in EMS at Catawba Valley Community College, Tim came to work with Forsyth County EMS in 1995.  Since that time, he has become actively involved with EMS education.  He was promoted to Senior Paramedic and Corporal in 1998 and to Lieutenant 1999. Tim was promoted to Captain in 2003.  As a Training Officer, Tim coordinated the efforts that have brought more than 75% of our Paramedics to meet National Registry Standards.  Tim completed his Bachelors Degree in Emergency Medical Care at Western Carolina University in 2003.


Captain Daren F. Ziglar, AS, NREMT-P

Daren began his employment with Forsyth County EMS in 1988 while completing his Associates Degree in EMS at Guilford Technical Community College.  Daren has been active with the Walkertown Fire Department since the early 80's and is currently active in the continuing education of the city and county fire and rescue departments.  Daren played a major role in the development of the Forsyth County EMS Special Tactics And Rescue Team (STAR) that began in the late 80's to train Paramedics in high and low angle rescue for incidents where ALS care was needed in those rescue environments. He has also served as the Hazmat Coordinator for the Special Operations Response Team.  In 1991 Daren was promoted to Senior Paramedic, Corporal in 1994 and Lieutenant in 1999.  Daren was promoted to Captain in 2003.

 


Captain Jeffrey D. Griffin, BS, NREMT-P

Jeff began his employment with Forsyth County EMS in 1992 while completing his Associates Degree in EMS at Guilford Technical Community College.  After a brief educational leave, Jeff returned to FCEMS in 1996 after receiving his Bachelors Degree in Emergency Medical Care at Western Carolina University.  He was promoted to Senior Paramedic in 1997, Corporal in 1998 and Sergeant in 2001.  In 2002, he was promoted to Lieutenant and assumed a Training Officer position.  Jeff was promoted to Captain in 2003.
