Station 8
(Headquarters)
| Located at 911 E. Fifth St. in Winston-Salem, Station 8 is home to the
Administration,
Operations,
Equipment,
Training and
Billing Divisions. The
two-story facility is complete with administrative offices, a
Conference Room, a large Training Room, Supervisor's Office,
Assistant Supervisor's Office, Training Office and Lab, Day Room,
Kitchen, multiple storage areas, fourteen (14) apparatus bays and
sleeping quarters for twenty-three (23) personnel. Four (4) ALS ambulances,
805 (operated by
the Assistant Supervisor) and 804 (operated by the Supervisor) are housed and
operated from Station 8. All spare ambulances and QRV's, the Mass
Disaster Unit (MDU), and two (2) utility trailers are housed at this location. |
